California Minimum Wage 2024 Increase.  — california’s statewide minimum wage will increase to $16 an hour on jan. Effective january 1, 2024, the minimum wage is $16.00 per hour for all employers, not otherwise covered by a higher minimum wage.

 — effective july 1, 2024, these localities will increase their minimum wage to:  — beginning jan 1, 2024, california’s minimum wage will increase from $15.50 per hour to $16 per hour for all employers, regardless of size.
